Tropical Depression

Dear Valued Customer,

On July 31, 2019, The Hong Kong Observatory has issued “Tropical Cyclone Standby Signal No. 1”.

Name: Tropical Depression

Areas Affected: Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangdong Regions

Current Position: 490 kilometers (304 miles) south of Hong Kong

Current Maximum Sustained Wind: 45 kilometers per hour (28 miles per hour)

Forecast and Remarks: The tropical cyclone is currently over the northern part of the South China Sea and will move towards the vicinity of western Guangdong province. The Observatory may consider issuing “Tropical Cyclone Strong Wind Signal No. 3” tonight.

The Laconic Control Tower Team will continue to actively monitor the tropical cyclone and notify you should there be any disruptions or delays to any of your shipments.
